In the context of an Erasmus+ agreement with Open Hellenic University we had the pleasure to host Dr. Irene Mavrommati. While visiting NTNU she gave an interesting talk on IoT sensing for STEM Education & environmental awareness, something very relevant for the work we are doing in schools in the context of Excited. It was interesting to hear about GAIA, a European project developing tools for raising awareness among young people about energy usage. Dr. Mavormmati also presented current research she is doing with one of the PhDs she supervises on IoT sensing of aquatic parameters. We are hoping we can cooperate and run similar activities in Trondheim during the next semester! Stay tuned 😉
